Today, me and my boyfriend broke up..

So I went quadding with my brother and his good friend Cody. Cody's girlfriend, Tanya, also came.

What started as an awful day, turned out to be an amazing day of a 55 km long adventure.
Yup, 55 km.

Here's the first picture from the day:

My brother just bought this 1978 bike. It's in
mint condition and runs great! I love it.
As you can see, we did as the mexicans would and put a crate on the back to put a cooler with some budweiser in it.

Our first stop

Our second stop

This is up at the third lake at Champion today.
It was beautiful. We were sure it would be packed.
However, there wasn't a soul in sight.
I saw a loon, and lots of fish jumping very high.
We also saw 4 deer and two moose today.
I love nature.

This is my brother, Tom.
Have I ever told you how much I adore him?
Even when he throws trail mix at me when I'm trying to take a nice picture of him.
Yes, he's wearing a
cut off Harley Davidson tee.
He's the fucking man, and everybody should know it.

"The rigs"

On our way back form Champion Lakes, we ended up on the wrong side of the mountain from where we live and found this truck. The registration expired in April '04 so it had been there 6 years we figure. It was waaay back in the woods and we have no idea what it was doing there. It was fun to explore it though. Unfortunately, we didn't find much but a fire extinguisher that didn't work :(

Did I mention how much I look up to my brother?
He's my hero. He's always been my hero.
He probably always will be.

Oh also, real quick. I think the three of you (Jeff, Raine and Jordan.. but probably just Jeff because I don't think Raine's a regular and Jordan only skims through my blogging for his own name.. in which case, JORDAN O'HARA YOU SHOULD READ THIS) should check out this band. They make some neat music and you can download their entire album, Planet Music, for free off their website, which is something you should do.
"Downtown" is my favourite song. They're going to be touring BC this summer, and if you're not busy, check them out! These guys are great!

Here's "Downtown" on youtube

See you!

P.S. I think I'm getting better at this blogging thing! I made 3 links on this post, and formatted the pictures to different locations let alone the fact that I managed to load multiple pictures on to one post! Wow! Kudos, Claire! Thanks, Claire!

Is it weird I just gave myself a high five?

  1. I love adventures. I seriously would have no reason to live if I couldn't explore and get myself into and out of sticky situations.

your bro has a cool website, he seems famous.

that satori life website fucked with my computer pretty badly, does it fuck with yours?
I liked that song though, good vibes!
